Earlier this week, our team came together to host a cake sale in support of our charities of the year. The office was filled with the smell of freshly baked homemade treats like cakes, biscuits and brownies. We had colleagues stopping by to make a donation and enjoy something sweet for a fantastic cause.
We’re thrilled to share that the combined total raised for the event came to £296.80 for our charities!
Supporting Great Causes
Every cupcake or slice of cake sold and enjoyed directly supports our chosen charities, helping them continue their vital work in the community. These organisations make a huge difference to the lives of those they serve, and our fundraising events are just one of the ways we can give back.
A Joint Effort Across All Charities
What made the event even more exciting was that our partner charities also held their own cake sales on the very same day. By coordinating these events, we were able to create a bigger impact and encourage more donations. Our amazing team baked and brought in some fantastic treats, which proved a hit with everyone. Highlights included:
Biscoff Millionaires Shortbread was a true showstopper. Picture a buttery Biscoff biscuit base layered with silky, golden caramel and finished with a generous topping of smooth milk chocolate, rippled with delicate white-chocolate swirls. A decadent twist on the classic, created for those who love an indulgent treat.
Marshmallow Brookies combined the best of both worlds — a rich, fudgy brownie base baked together with chewy cookie dough, then crowned with a gooey layer of toasted marshmallow. Soft, crisp, and irresistibly chocolatey, this indulgent mash-up was the ultimate treat for anyone with a sweet tooth.
Lemon Drizzle was a hit. Light, fluffy sponge infused with zesty lemon, then soaked in a tangy-sweet glaze that seeped into every crumb. Finished with a delicate citrus drizzle, it struck the perfect balance of refreshing and indulgent.
