Lowfield Timber Frames Celebrates 25 Years of Growth, Innovation, and Sustainable Construction
Lowfield Timber Frames, one of the UK’s leading independent timber frame manufacturers, proudly celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2025. This milestone highlights the company’s continued success, industry leadership, and strong commitment to sustainable construction practices.
Since its establishment in 2000, Lowfield Timber Frames has been at the forefront of modern construction methods (MMC), consistently delivering high-quality timber frame solutions across residential and commercial projects throughout the UK.
Starting with just four employees, the company has grown to over 130 skilled staff, driven by innovation, investment in advanced technology, and sustainable building leadership.
A Legacy of Excellence and Industry Impact
In 2024 alone, Lowfield Timber Frames contributed to nearly 2,500 new homes across the UK, demonstrating the efficiency and benefits of off-site manufacturing. For example, the company supplied over 100 units on a single development within 16 weeks using advanced MMC Category 2 panels—showcasing the vital role timber frame solutions play in addressing the UK’s housing demand.
To support its growth, Lowfield Timber Frames has invested in cutting-edge equipment, including the Hundegger Compact Robot Drive CNC machine, boosting production capacity and precision. These advancements allow the company to maintain its reputation for delivering high-quality, precision-engineered timber frames to a growing client base.
Commitment to Staff Well-being and Community Engagement
Lowfield Timber Frames fosters an inclusive and supportive workplace through initiatives like Cancer Champions and Mental Health First Aider training. The company’s dedication to employee well-being is a key part of its success.
Beyond business, Lowfield Timber Frames actively supports local charities, having raised over £11,000 in the past three years. This year, the company is fundraising for The Bracken Trust, Ponthafren, and Lingen Davies charities, with an impressive £5,000 raised so far.
Investing in Training and Industry Advancement
Looking ahead, Lowfield Timber Frames is expanding its commitment to industry education. The company’s recently rebuilt offices will include a dedicated training facility set to open in summer 2025. The centre will equip developers, housebuilders, and property professionals with knowledge to maximise timber frame construction benefits.
Sustainability at the Heart of Future Growth
Sustainability remains central to Lowfield Timber Frames’ vision, with a focus on low-carbon, energy-efficient building solutions. The company actively promotes collaboration between industry partners to drive innovation and support the delivery of high-performance, sustainable buildings.
“We are incredibly proud to reach this 25-year milestone,” said Managing Director Darren Jarman. “This achievement reflects the hard work and dedication of our team and the trust of our clients.
