Will a timber frame building look different?
The main difference with a timber frame build is that what would otherwise be internal block work is replaced by the timber structure. With an internal plasterboard finish the interior of a timber framed building need look no different to a brick and block equivalent. A wood finish makes for an attractive exterior, but a timber framed building can be clad in traditional brick and other finishes to meet individual tastes or local planning requirements.
